Dear friends, supporters, and collaborators,
It is my pleasure to present to you the vision and goals of the Institute of Education, Heritage, and Tourism, which in 2013 took its first steps on the long path of its activities in the field of education, promoting Albanian heritage, values, and traditions that are precious national treasures.
During this period, the continuous and responsible work of the Institute’s staff and its collaborators has made it possible to lay the foundations for a diverse range of educational and cultural activities in a very short time. The Institute’s role is comprehensive. It has organized seminars and various activities in the framework of educational development at all levels, including the drafting of school and university textbooks, publishing books, as well as offering numerous lectures and training sessions for students, teachers, school administrators, and professors.
Moreover, IETT has undertaken several initiatives to enrich the libraries of public and private institutions in Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia, a project that is expected to expand in the future with the aim of spreading knowledge, culture, and educational values.
Of particular importance is IETT’s effort to study and preserve Albania’s cultural heritage, which constitutes a crucial pillar for safeguarding our nation’s material and spiritual values. The comprehensive promotion of this heritage is one of our main objectives, and to achieve this, we organize various studies and activities in collaboration with important institutions both inside and outside the country.
In addition, IETT aims to promote Albania’s tourist destinations to numerous visitors from the region and the world. As part of showcasing the country’s natural and cultural wonders, the Institute organizes cultural trips for foreign visitors to various locations in Albania and Kosovo. It also participates in national and international fairs, and holds meetings with well-known tourism companies to support the development of tourism in our country. As a result of these achievements, our Institute has also focused on creating cultural tourism packages and accompanying foreign tourists in every detail of their stay in Albania and Kosovo.
Despite numerous inherited and current challenges, we continue to work with dedication to advance activities that promote and develop our country.
Our achievements over the years are due to the efforts of the board, staff, and all those who have supported us. Therefore, IETT keeps its doors open for your participation in every project it organizes, aiming to achieve the best possible results in promoting our wonderful culture, history, and tourism.
