The Youth Network IETT, created by the Institute of Education, Heritage, and Tourism, with the support of its partners, aims to be a driving force for informing, empowering, and engaging young people to develop their potential. This network, through the implementation of innovative ideas and projects, aims to improve and revitalize social, educational, and cultural life.
The focus of the Youth Network IETT is to promote social-cultural diversity, educate and inform young people about negative social phenomena. The main objective remains the support of new talents, their development, as well as the creation of a youth tradition.
Participation in the Youth Network of IETT brings the following benefits:
- Support from IETT for attending summer schools locally and abroad, organized by the Institute and/or its partners;
- Certificate of participation in activities organized by IETT;
- Support for various activities that the Youth Network may organize within IETT’s premises;
- A free copy of any publication from the Institute;
- Internship opportunities at IETT;
- Educational trips to explore natural and cultural heritage (1-2 days);
- Access to the Library at the Canadian Institute of Technology, CIT;
- Discounts on Master’s degree programs offered by the Canadian Institute of Technology, CIT, such as: Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Computer Engineering and IT, Software Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Digital Marketing;
- A free spot, 50% scholarship for Master’s level programs at CIT, based on meeting the following criteria: – Results; Economic assistance; Single-parent students; CV;
- A free level for one of the courses offered by CIT HUB, such as: Python, Web Development, Database Systems, etc. (CIT Hub is an innovative center, a project of IETT, created with the support of the National Youth Congress, Municipality of Tirana, and CIT);
- Opportunities to publish scientific articles in the scientific-cultural journal “Univers”, if they meet the scientific criteria.
What is required from the members of the Youth Network IETT:
- Participate regularly and be active in events organized by IETT and its supporting partners;
- Bring ideas and innovations in various fields; organize projects to offer similar opportunities to other young people;
- Advocate for issues related to the preservation of positive societal values, family values, and promoting Albania domestically and abroad;
- Represent IETT at external activities, as well as join our meetings to better understand IETT’s mission;
- Provide feedback and suggestions on the activities of IETT and the Institute;
- Be cooperative during the organization of summer or winter camps.
*All young people who express interest in joining the Youth Network IETT will be contacted individually by the IETT secretariat regarding the entire process and next steps to follow.
