On May 20–21, 2025, IETT participated in an international seminar conducted by Prof. Dr. Andriela Vitic Cetkovic, a professor at the University of Montenegro, Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management. The event was organized by the Department of Marketing and Tourism at “Fan S. Noli” University in Korça.
During the seminar, two key topics were addressed:
* Trends in Brand Management
* Niche and Special Interest Tourism: Current Trends
The Institute had the opportunity to learn about the process of brand building in tourism, the challenges posed by overtourism, and the need for sustainable alternatives, such as:
* Volunteer tourism
* Medical tourism
* Slow tourism focused on local history and culture
The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the development of sustainable tourism without harming host cities or communities, by introducing new strategies and innovative approaches.
In conclusion, all participants—including students from “Fan S. Noli” University and online attendees—were awarded certificates of participation.
