On June 19, 2025, the latest meeting of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT) was held at the institute’s premises. The meeting was attended by the Chair, Prof. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj, board members Prof. Dr. Valter Shtylla, Ambassador Kujtim Morina, and Mr. Dritan Lloçi, as well as the Executive Director, Prof. Dr. Nevila Nika, the Coordinator, Ms. Anisa Hykaj, and the Office Assistant, Ms. Megi Beleshko.
The meeting opened with a welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Zekaj, who emphasized the importance of the institute’s sustainable development and the strengthening of its role in the fields of education, heritage, and tourism.
Following that, Ms. Anisa Hykaj presented the progress report for 2024 and the first half of 2025, highlighting key projects implemented and collaborations with both domestic and international partners. She also provided a detailed overview of the financial situation, along with proposals for better resource management.
Board members discussed proposals for new projects of national and regional interest, as well as priority areas for further development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the work plan for the second half of 2025 was approved, and IETT’s strategic goals for the future were defined, aiming to position the institute as an influential institution in the fields of education, heritage, and tourism both nationally and beyond.
