On May 25, the promotion of the book “Education in the Ishëm Region” by author Agim Lika was organized, with the publication made possible by the Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT).
This book is the result of 25 years of teaching experience and a rich body of literature, which only the author has skillfully gathered and accurately compiled.
For the public and art enthusiasts, Mr. Lika presented historical truths from a wealth of archival research, offering a comprehensive portrayal of the history of education and Albanian schools in the Ishëm region.
The book launch, held at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” Palace of Culture, was attended by distinguished personalities from various fields, including the Head of the Ishëm Administrative Unit, Mr. Kadri Gjyli; the Head of the NGO “Ishmi,” Mr. Isuf Shehu; researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bernard Zoto; Mr. Nexhmedin Basha; Mr. Kujtim Xhebexhiu; Dr. Shkëlqim Sirika; Mr. Isuf Shehu; and IETT Coordinator, Ms. Anisa Hykaj, among others.
At the conclusion of the event, the book “Education in the Ishëm Region” was gifted to all participants, educators, and reading enthusiasts.
