As part of its project to enrich libraries across Albanian-speaking regions, the Institute of Education, Heritage, and Tourism (IETT) places special importance on the libraries of various cultural and educational institutions, both public and private.
On this occasion, a delegation from the Institute—represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj, Executive Director of IETT; Prof. Dr. Nevila Nika, Board Member and Coordinator of IETT; and Ms. Anisa Hykaj—visited the “Thimi Mitko” Library in the city of Korçë, where they were welcomed by the Library Director, Ms. Jorida Dhëmbi.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the importance of contributing to institutional libraries as an investment in the education of future generations, as well as potential opportunities for collaboration.
On this occasion, a number of publications across various genres were donated to the city library of Korçë to support students, pupils, and reading enthusiasts.
IETT has undertaken several initiatives to enrich the libraries of public and private institutions in Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia—a project it plans to expand in the future with the aim of spreading knowledge, culture, and educational values.
