On September 12, 2019, the Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT) held its regular Board of Directors meeting to analyze the first half of 2019. Present at the meeting were the Chairman of the IETT Board of Directors, Prof. Xhevahir Lleshi; Executive Director of IETT and Board Member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj; Board Members Prof. Dr. Valter Shtylla, Ambassador Kujtim Morina, Mr. Buron Kaceli, as well as IETT Coordinator, Ms. Anisa Hykaj.
The welcome address was given by the Chairman of the Board, Prof. Xhevahir Lleshi, who informed the attending members of the meeting’s pre-approved agenda.
Following that, the Executive Director and Board Member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj, presented a brief report on the Institute’s progress during the first six months of 2019. He highlighted both the achievements and the challenges faced by the Institute during this period.
Subsequently, the IETT Coordinator presented to the Board the proposals from the Departments of Education, Heritage, and Tourism, as well as each department’s work plan.
The establishment of the Institute’s journal was one of the key points discussed by the Board Members, who are distinguished figures in Albanian science and culture. They expressed great enthusiasm about the creation of this journal, which aims to promote Albanian culture and heritage across the world. Several proposals and suggestions were made, which will soon be implemented.
The meeting also resulted in decisions regarding the administrative structure of the Institute, which were unanimously approved by all participating members.
