The Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism participated in the First Albanian Medical Tourism Summit “Why Albania 2025”, organized on November 22 at the Marriott Hotel by the Albanian Medical Tourism Association, AMTA.
IETT sees medical tourism as a high-potential field, taking into account Albania’s natural resources, high-quality services, and the opportunities the country offers to establish itself as a promising Mediterranean destination.
The summit featured discussions on medical quality, inter-institutional cooperation, dental tourism, wellness, surgery, promotion, and the use of technology to support this strategic sector. Participation in the summit was a valuable opportunity to understand the latest trends and contribute to the promotion of this strategic field.
