On May 26 2022, Kamal Mustafa a well-known journalist from Egypt visited the Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT). He was welcomed by the Executive Director of IETT, Prof. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj; Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. Valter Shtylla; IETT Coordinator, Mrs. Anisa Hykaj; and members of the administrative staff.
For 33 years, Mr. Mustafa has represented the European Press Agency (EPA) in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, actively participating in numerous national and international conferences in the fields of economics, literature, translation, and journalism. During his visit to IETT, he was introduced to the Institute’s educational and cultural programs, as well as its long-standing initiatives.
Discussions focused on promoting Albania’s heritage and its historical, cultural, and tourism values in Arabic-speaking countries. Emphasis was also placed on the role of media, technology, and virtual communication in disseminating information. A range of other important topics were addressed, including shared inspirational ideas and critical reflections. The meeting highlighted a mutual interest in establishing future collaborations between Mr. Kamal and IETT.
On this occasion, opportunities for cooperation agreements with partner institutions were also explored, aiming to develop projects that promote the highest values of our communities in the fields of education, heritage, and tourism. A significant outcome of the meeting was the official appointment of Mr. Kamal Mustafa as Media Advisor to IETT. In this role, he will serve as a bridge between IETT and institutions, agencies, and organizations around the world.
