The Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism, in collaboration with the Canadian Institute of Technology, implemented the project “CIT HUB – Innovation Center,” funded by the National Youth Congress and the Municipality of Tirana within the framework of the program “Tirana European Youth Capital 2022.” IETT encourages innovation and creativity among young people by actively supporting entrepreneurial initiatives. As part of the “CIT HUB – Innovation Center” project, a series of trainings were organized in Python, Web Development, Microsoft Office Suite, CITi Incubator Start-Up, Database Management, as well as the DemoDay StartUp Challenge 2022 event.
Our collaboration with other organizations, donors, and public or private investors has enabled us to offer a wide range of services and opportunities for startups, which are nurtured through our incubation programs. These programs provide training, mentorship, and investment opportunities. This initiative gave young startups the chance to incubate their business ideas for 8 weeks and then present them to potential investors.
